Very Good – Actually Great – Experience!

I teach Italian at Vanderbilt University, so I live in Nashville, Tennessee. When I am in Italy for work or for leisure, I rent out my apartment in Nashville through SabbaticalHomes. It’s always been a very good – actually great – experience also because I have the chance to meet very interesting people that share my interests.

For example, the last woman who I had the pleasure to meet – and who stayed in my apartment – was a doctor who basically worked with art. It turns out that my father is a painter, so my apartment is full of works of art. And she enjoyed it very much.

And while I work at Vanderbilt, I rent out my apartment in Italy, which is a very tiny, beautiful apartment on the beach with a great view on the ocean. It’s five minutes from the Fiumicino Airport in Rome. You can go to Rome and the Vatican library in 30 minutes by train, and we have the Leonardo train which connects the Fiumicino airport and the terminal.
