Julia was great to work with. I was not in Boston so Julia gave me a video tour of the apartment before I rented it. The apartment was comfortable and the neighborhood has many convenient shops in walking distance.

I rented Julia's apartment in the Jamaica Plain neighbourhood from September 2021 to February 2022 while in Boston for a research fellowship, and had a wonderful 6 months living there. The apartment is spacious and bright, well-cared for, and furnished with everything one might need. It's perfectly located to enjoy the local green spaces and delighful shops and restaurants in the neigbourhood, and there's easy access to public transportation. Julia is a friendly, responsible and fair landlady, a quick and clear communicator and very organized. I don't hesitate to recommend this short term rental opportunity!

My husband and I stayed in Julia's apartment for 4 months on sabbatical this Fall and highly recommend it. It is sunny, bright and in a fantastic location -- one can walk to Jamaica Pond, the Harvard Arboretum or Franklin park very easily, which we did virtually every day. It's also a 5 minute walk from Center street, which has a great independent bookstore, restaurants, a health food store, library, community center, and other sweet (and independent) stores. The apartment had virtually everything we needed and street parking in front of the house was easily available. The flat is the third floor and feels like a wonderful, quiet hideaway. Julia is responsible and organized, and dealt with the two small issue that arise very quickly. We hope to go back and stay here ourselves someday!

Julia and Julia’s apartment are incredible. My wife and I stayed in her apartment after grad school and before moving back to Europe. The apartment is spacious, full of natural light, quiet, and located at the very heart of the wonderful Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. The hardwood floors and tasteful furniture make it very nice and cozy. Inside you will find everything you need: a fully furnished kitchen, a super comfy couch, a large dining table, a restroom with a window, 2 spacious bedrooms and plenty of storage space. Even the back porch is furnished so you can enjoy the nice weather and relax overlooking the green backyard. And in winter the apartment is nice and warm. The location is very good for reaching public transportation and the neighborhood local shops. It is close to the subway station, bus #39, and all the services you could ever want for the perfect Boston experience, including a cupcake shop and a community swimming pool! The only downside is that the big grocery shops are approx. 20 min on foot, but if you get a bike everything becomes really close. Or you can always buy local in the small shops around the corner or use a grocery home delivery service. Julia was always very easy to reach and always kind and responsive. She is a brilliant mind with a big heart. We highly appreciated that she had de-leaded the apartment to be able to accommodate everyone, even families with kids. We couldn’t say but good things about this place, and we’ll for sure contact Julia again if in need of accommodation in Boston.
