Our 3-bd 2-bath apartment in Old Nice has easy access to bus/tram, beach, & parks. You'll enjoy the newly renovated bathrooms, high ceilings, antique furnishings, and open kitchen. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment sleeps 8 (3 queen beds and 2 single beds). It has a Jacuzzi tub and a hydromassage shower. Bibliophiles will love the collection of antique leatherbound books (mostly en francais, bien sur!). Our windows open onto a pedestrian street filed with art galleries, and the Palais Lascaris is right across the way. You'll love being close to the beach, daily markets, playgrounds, and all the cultural amenities of central Nice. The apartment includes free wifi & free calling to France, the US, & Canada. Linens, beach & bath towels included. Our kitchen has a double convection oven, and guests are encouraged to cook from our pantry & herb/spice collection. We have all the essential appliances for cooking. There's a front-loading washing machine in the kitchen and plenty of laundry lines outside the front two windows. The Neighborhood We are in the best neighborhood in all of Nice! Everything is right out our front door: parks, playgrounds, markets, museums, opera houses, restaurants, art galleries, shopping...there's always something to do or see. Getting around The apartment is a 2-minute walk from the tram station & bus stops (including the airport buses). Definitely no need for a car, but parking is available in several locations in old Nice. A 3-4 minute walk gets you to the beach. Getting to/from the airport is easy on the new tram line. Other Things to Note The master bathroom includes a shower, sink, and writing desk. The bed is on an 8-foot high sleeping loft with a window that overlooks the living room & kitchen. The second bedroom opens into the second bathroom that has a large Jacuzzi tub and stone sink. The third bedroom is in the attic. You climb a steep staircase and the ceilings are low, a bit under 5 feet high. It includes two twin-sized mattress and a double bed (140x190 cm). This room is the oldest part of the apartment, with the original beamed ceilings and exposed rock walls. The WC is in a separate room--typical of French apartments.
