Welcome to our island paradise. This farm house is 5 minutes from the beach and sits near the top of Gabriola Island, providing beautiful views of the ocean and Vancouver Island beyond. On the 5 acres we have an orchard with mulberries, cherries, peaches, Italian plums, several varieties of pears and apples and a few nuts trees. Depending on the season you can pick your fill for personal enjoyment. Approximately 2 acres are surrounded by deer fencing to protect the orchard and gardens ( and keep your dog in), beyond that are paths in the private woods and meadows to romp on the property. The great room has the living room, dinning area, and open kitchen with large windows facing south and the view. We have a large bedroom (queen bed) with ensuite, a simple second bedroom (double) and third is very unique small space with a queen loft. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom and are private, away from the main bedroom. The second bedroom can be reconfigured as a home office. Enjoy the internet, smart TV, the many books, and the woodfire stove inside, or outside there are sitting areas for sun and view, under the grape arbor, or in the shade of the nut trees. On the property is a separate guest house with long term tenants who will keep their eyes out on the orchard and garden so that you will not have concern for these. The access to the guest house is separate and very private.
