Beautiful, light-filled 3 bedroom apartment with great porch and a sauna in quiet residential Cambridge neighborhood, close to restaurants, parks, playgrounds, bike path, pubic tranportation. Close to Tufts and Harvard (2 stops on the T from Harvard Square.) 20 minute drive to Walden Pond. 50 minutes to beautiful ocean beaches and towns. Reach out to us about the dates you're interested in. We would like to rent for July and also for the fall and spring semesters, but don't need to rent to the same person for those different periods. This is our family home where we’ve lived for 20+ years and raised our kids. We’re subletting while we’re on sabbatical. Second and third floor in a two family house with friendly, quiet neighbors downstairs. Light filled living room with piano (and guitars), comfortable fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need and dining room. Three bedrooms–two with double beds and one with a queen bed. Two offices (one in a heated three-season porch). One full bathroom with tub/ shower and one half bath. Beautiful, spacious porch with couches, dining table, plants, sun and shade for good weather dining and living. Enjoy games, books, and comfortable Cambridge living. Bikes can be included in rental. AC and heat–from solar panels on the roof. About the area: We are right next to a friendly neighborhood playground, perfect for kids of any age. We’re also two minutes from the minuteman bike path that you can take into Boston or all the way to Acton. Lots of other parks and playgrounds in the area. There are numerous great restaurants and cafes in walking distance–Middle Eastern, Greek, Japanese, American, Thai, Tibetan, Korean, Irish pubs with music, top end restaurants and casual. There are at least 10 cafes/ bakeries within a one mile radius. We’re a five minute walk from a somewhat top end family-owned grocery where you can get anything you want, a bangladeshi market for other produce and food items, and a small specialty grocer that sells only local products. We’re a ten minute walk from Davis square, which has many restaurants, an H mart, movie theater, music venues, ice cream store, book store, bike store, and more. We’re a three minute walk from a local library, and there are several yoga studios within a mile radius as well. We’re 5 stops away from downtown Boston on the T, and you can go to great music, restaurants, theater, etc in Boston. Easy access to other Boston area colleges! We’re a 20 minute drive from Walden Pond–great for hiking in any season and swimming in the summer. And 50 minutes from several lovely ocean beaches and coastal towns. In short, whatever you’re looking for, we’re pretty close to it… We’re close to great Cambridge schools–both public and private. Looking for: Non smokers. One cat is okay.
