We will be on sabbatical leave and are offering our apartment for rent from July 2026 to August 2027. Located on a quiet corner of the central Mile-End/Plateau Mont-Royal borough (Saint Dominique and Villeneuve streets) — a vibrant, trendy and storied area with both local and European-style charm. Next to shops, cafés, terraces, French bakeries and fine restaurants, to arthouse cinemas, municipal libraries, independent bookshops and concert halls, rich in cultural activities (one street east of the Main, the Saint-Laurent Boulevard) and object of regular cultural and literary walks. Close to McGill, Université de Montréal and UQAM. Ten-minute walk to the foot of Mont-Royal, seven-minute walk to Laurier and Mont-Royal metro stations, served by several frequent city transit bus lines (number 55, 51, 80, 97, 11,), very well-serviced with dedicated bike lanes and rental bike stations. The apartment is about 75 sqm, well—lit, fully furnished and equipped, with two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and a smaller one with a twin bed), one bathroom with bathtub, a big open area that includes kitchen and living room, and two balconies (including the back fire escape). Air-conditioned in the summer and room temperature control in the cold season. Rent includes high-speed internet, heating, electricity, and water. Ideal for a person, a couple or a family of three.
