I'm a faculty going on sabbatical for AY26/27. Ferndale is a walkable suburb of Detroit. By car it is 15 minutes to Wayne State University and downtown Detroit; 22 minutes to University of Michigan-Dearborn, and 50 minutes to University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. 3 bed/1bath house. 1 room on ground floor being used as an office, opens up to a patio and overlooks garden, can be converted to bedroom if desired. Deep backyard on 0.22 acre lot has firepit, annual strawberries and raspberries, 4 garden beds, greenhouse, gas grill, and 1 car garage (2006 Camry). Additional amenities include: electric bidet with heated seat, air filter, under sink water filter, compost tumbler. Front porch has a porch swing. Have one sweet, low-maintenance indoor orange cat. Care of cat negotiable.
