Welcome to our family home! We are traveling for the fall and looking to rent our home to a family or couple seeking housing for the fall semester. The house is fully furnished for family of up-to 4, with ample space to spare. The home contains a rooftop hot tub, private parking, and a backyard in busy Somerville, MA! This house feels like the suburbs—so cozy and full of little surprises—with all the conveniences of the city. It's a 2-minute walk to the subway, and there’s always something going on in Union Square nearby, with great spots to eat and hang out. You don't need a car to be perfectly happy in this home! This is a true unicorn—a home in Somerville with its own private parking, yard, 3 different entrances, and secluded rooftop hot tub. There is another home on the lot, but you almost can't tell. The home is situated on three levels. The first floor includes a mudroom with ample storage, beautiful kitchen with all the (full-American-size) amenities, full bathroom, dining room, family room w/ TV, front hall, and office space with two workstations. On the second floor/kids' paradise, you'll find three bedrooms (two with twin beds), washer/dryer, a full bathroom, and a secret room hidden by a swinging-door bookshelf (there's also another secret entrance.... can you find it?) One of the bedrooms is currently set up like a kids' playroom with play kitchen, oodles of toys, and a Nintendo 64. On the third floor, just steps from the primary bedroom with sweeping views of Cambridge & beyond and the oversized, spa-like primary bathroom is a roof deck with a private hot tub, ready for relaxing. In the backyard you'll find a grill, some grass for playing, and a kids' jungle gym with swings. Having parking right outside is such a bonus. Our house has this great balance of feeling connected to everything while still being a peaceful little escape.
