We've lived in this house for years and honestly wouldn't be leaving it if we weren't leaving Chicago entirely. It's a 127-year-old limestone greystone that we've made into a proper family home. It has hard wood floors, updated kitchen, renovated bathrooms, new fridge, dishwasher, washer dryer but still with all the original bones. It has Four bedrooms across two floors, which worked well for us with kids. One of the bedrooms is in the basement which has its own access, and bathroom. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower; the second bath was fully redone. The kitchen opens to the main living space and has granite counters, gas range, breakfast bar. There's a backyard that's good for summer. We usually host big bbq’s and have people in the big yard, and garden. We're in Woodlawn, a few blocks from where the Obama Library is going up, and about a 10–15 minute walk or one bus stop from the main quad. The neighborhood has changed a lot for the better in recent years. We've always felt at home here. Happy to answer questions or share more photos.
