The house was built in 1881 in Amherst's historic district, and has high ceilings, large windows, lots of natural light, and loads of charm. The house has one bedroom for rent on the first floor, which has its own cozy en suite bathroom with shower. The room also includes a nearly-new, top-quality twin bed, large desk, and attractive and comfortable neutral-color furniture. It has its own clothes closet and ample storage space. Additionally, we have a spacious, fully furnished, eat-in kitchen for renter's shared use on the first floor. Renter is welcome to relax, as well, on the front porch or in our very big yard. This lovely room is a comfortable sanctuary in a quiet and friendly home.
