1 Private bed/shared bath in Duplex w/shared living area near U City

Description

I am an Associate Research Professor in Drexel's Dornsife School of Public Health and am renting a small bedroom with a shared bathroom in a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment in my duplex. I live with my family in the first floor unit and am renting out the top unit bedrooms (2nd and 3rd floors). The place is very close to UPenn or Drexel main campus on public transit (<10 min), bike (8-10 min), or walking (20-25 min). We've also hosted tenants that go The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (10-15 min public transit), Temple University (35-40 min public transit) and St. Joseph's University (35-40 min public transit). There are two other bedrooms in this apartment that we are also renting out with whose tenants you would share common spaces. This small bedroom includes a twin loft bed, desk & office chair, lamps, and closet storage. The closet is a good size, and has nice light all year round. The bathroom is potentially shared with one other tenant if the other bedroom is occupied. The shared space with the other tenants is the kitchen/living area that is furnished with appliances & essentials (dining table & chairs, couch, dishes, utensils, cooking tools, food storage, etc.) and the laundry area that includes a washer and dryer. If you prefer a regular bed rather than a twin, we can replace the loft, but there will not be space for a desk. We prefer tenants seeking a longer term stay (e.g., academic year of Aug-Jun), but are happy to consider shorter stays so please reach out. We welcome international visitors and have hosted many before from all over the world. We speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
