Additional photos available! University of Toronto is a 10 to 15 minute subway ride, and TMU is 30 minutes. You can ride a separated bike lane all the way to U of T campus, with bike share docks everywhere. Car sharing is also nearby. If you have your own vehicle, my suite comes with a secure underground parking space. Roncesvalles village is one of the best neighbourhoods in Toronto, with wide cobblestone sidewalks, loads of cafes, restaurants, boutiques. My building is steps from the subway, the airport train, three streetcar lines and a regional GO Train. My loft has a Walk Score of 97, a Transit Score of 100, and a cycling score of 96. We have two annual street festivals. My location is a ten minute walk to Toronto's glorious High Park, Toronto's largest park full of nature trails, wildlife, a large pond, picnic areas with fire pits, and all kinds of sports facilities and the most fantastic children's playground full of castles. It's a 15 to 30 minute walk to Sunnyside Beach on Lake Ontario (depending if you stop for coffee or one of the dozens of shops). You can walk or cycle the beach boardwalk and trails in each direction for hours passing volleyball games, sail boat marinas and beachside bars. My building, High Park Lofts, is a boutique building with a community feel and is nestled in a leafy neighbourhood with a spectacular view from 12' floor-to-ceiling windows. My suite has two offices, one of which includes a Murphy bed for guests, (last photo showing Murphy bed up) and an indoor patio office overlooking the building's bright plant-filled atrium (second from last photo). My suite has a gas fireplace , in-suite laundry and a secure underground parking spot. The building offers a rooftop patio with expansive views of Toronto's skyline and access to a shared BBQ and amenities room. My building is kid and pet friendly with no restrictions. About Me: For nine years, I ran a research institute at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a focus on urban planning and sustainability. I now lead the Ottawa Climate Action Fund, a not for profit organization based in Canada's capital, and I need to move to Ottawa. I love my loft in Toronto. Having lived in four Canadian cities, including Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, I have to say Roncesvalles Village is the greatest neighbourhood in the country. I hope you will love it as much as I do.
