We are an academic/professional couple with a student daughter. We are working in London. We lived in the house for 25 years and it has a cosy and warm feeling. The garden has a pergola with a vine - perfect for the summer. The main bedroom has a French door opening to the patio and back garden. The garden borders an ancient woodland so has total privacy and quiet. There is a conservatory which provides extra space for dining. It has a glass roof so you can sit and eat inside but feel outside. There is a beautiful view from the living room windows, overlooking fields and the village. The second bedroom is to the rear and is also quiet. There is a home office/study. There is a fully equipped kitchen.

Comments: The house has stairs leading to the entrance but once you are inside it's on one level, there are no stairs and it's safe for a young child. We raised our daughter here.
