Description

Part of Cascade Head Ranch, a low-density environmental development established in the 1970’s. Next door to the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, at the mouth of the Salmon River on the Pacific Ocean. We are 5 minutes walking distance from the head of the Cascade Head Hiking Trail, one of the most stunning hikes on the West Coast. Surrounded by protected lands, on the ocean, removed from major roads. In summer there is a heated outdoor pool. Canoes and paddle-board provided. A private communal River House (with kitchen, deck, barbecue, gas fireplace) provides views of the Head, river and ocean. This is one of the most beautiful, peaceful, protected developments in Oregon and yet there is a sense of community with programming by artists and scientists at the Sitka Center and activities at Westwind Camp. Within 15 minutes drive to groceries, galleries, restaurants, a public library, small local art cinema, a hospital, and all necessities in Lincoln City. We use all non-toxic, environmentally safe products so this a safe space for chemically sensitive people.
