Beautiful, large room in private home with kitchenette and bathroom

Hi, it's Will. My wife Licia and I have two grown children who are away at college as far as we can tell. When they're home for the summer or winter break the house is full, but most of the time we have lots of extra space. It's a big house, with 3 floors, built in 1900. On the third floor there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I sleep in one of the bedrooms and use the bathroom on the 2nd floor. We are offering the largest bedroom for rent, which comes with exclusive use of the 3rd floor bathroom. Licia sleeps in the bedroom directly below what-would-be your room. For this reason, we do have some noise rules: no audible media between the hours of 11p and 10a. There is no separate entrance to the room--we all use the same, main staircase. But the overlap is friendly and no burden for those who like their privacy. Laundry is in the basement. The basement is in a sorry, disorganized state, but we do keep the pathway through to the washer-dryer area tolerably clean. The neighborhood is called Friendship. Not exactly a hopping place, but it's surrounded by cafes, stores, restaurants, bus lines, and little parks. I would like to say Friendship is lovely, but for the months of January, February, March, and even part of April, it is, like all of Pittsburgh, cold, bare, brown and gray. Only when it snows does is all that gracefully covered up. Eventually but never too soon spring arrives, and we are all amply rewarded for our wintry endurance. Trash pickup is on Wednesdays.
