The BirdHouse: a Beautiful and Bright NW Denver Apartment

The Birdhouse is a modern carriage house, a separate apartment behind our home, with elegant comfortable furnishing, and tastefully decorated by local artists' work. Built in 2018, it has been impeccably maintained, while the gardens have matured. Seasonal vegetables and herbs surround the shared patio, with grill available for use year-round. The King-size bed is tempurpedic (firm but accommodating to any body). There are built-in shelves, a full closet, a small desk, large TV, and spacious kitchen table, which guests often use as their office area. There is additional storage in a pantry across from the laundry area. The minisplits provide heating or cooling on demand, perfect for Colorado's changeable weather. We are in a family neighborhood, so you may occasionally hear kids playing in the alley, or a backyard barbeque. Eric works from home, is quiet and respectful of privacy, but available if needed. There is a parking spot just in front of the house, (almost always available for you, and others nearby if not;) We have parks, a post office, 2 grocery stores, as well as a new meat market, all within .5 mile walk. This nearby Tennyson business district boasts a famous bakery (with croissants comparable to those of Paris!), restaurants of many ethnicities, 2 ice-cream shops, and several yoga/fitness studios. Berkley (really the best neighborhood in Denver) is just 15 minutes from both downtown and the charming town of Golden in the foothills. We are close to I 70 which is the access to all the Rocky Mountains have to offer. We love living here and think you will too.
