Wonderful Escapes at Wern-y-Cwm Farm is a labour of love creative project. Laura bought the farm as a renovation project to save it. Since then she has spent 8 years building it up to create a heaven on earth. The organically run farm and gardens are stunning, humming with polinators and abundant flowers. The 10 acres of wildflower meadows are full in interesting species, bees (28 types at last count) and butterflies. The farm has a natural swimming pool, useable year round, sauna, hot tubs, bee hives, miniature donkeys, farm cats and some lovely people. We are 10 minutes drive from Abergavenny, which as a mainland station with connection to London in just over 2 hours, lovely shops and restaurants. Within walk is our mountain -with views over 7 counties at the top of our hill, walk to our pub (3 miles) which has a fantastic community who are very friendly and many more. This would be an amazing place for a creative to come and retreat, finish a book, paint, or just chill, We are high end, so normally charge high rates for staying here, but we are looking to find someone or a few people to be flexible with which property they stay in over the quieter winter months. You would be based here, and we would always find you somewhere lovely to stay in a clean, luxury room. You may just need to move from house to house around our bookings. But you would be given plenty of notice and we would help you. The benefit of living here for a few weeks/months is that you would get to know us, become part of the team and potentially live in a new country whilst having a lovely support network to stop you from being lonely and ensure you really get to know the area and country.
