This beautiful home is one-level, located on the 2nd story of the home. The entry leads to the Kitchen and Living Room, which has sweeping views of the Bay Area and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Dining Room connects to the outdoors, and also has a grand piano, that would be available to use. The main bedroom, with California King bed, has an attached full bathroom. Two additional bedrooms share another full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has (2) twin beds. There are 3 porches with views toward the bay, as well as a larger porch connecting the house to the sloped backyard. A garage and separate apartment are below. This home would be ideal for a visiting scholar, whether with small children - who would enjoy the outside space and room to play inside, or without children. The home is almost as close as possible to the university, but slightly uphill - so generally quiet and with stunning views of the Bay Area. We have a car and electric bicycle that could be rented, as well. We hope we find someone who can use our home while we are on sabbatical, and who can enjoy this comfortable, practical, and beautiful home during your stay in Berkeley!
