Have you secured funding to spend a few months in Brisbane for the summer semester - Oct through to late Feb? We are going away and our apartment at 'The Chancellor', just 5min walk from campus, will be available. Ideally we are hoping for a sensible single or couple to live here while we are away. The apartment was built around 1980 but the bathrooms have been updated. It's a 3-bedroom apartment, but one room will be locked as we store our personal items there. When we are at home the 2nd smaller bedroom is configured as an office. If you want a standing desk and screen we can leave that out for you (your choice). It is hot in the Brisbane summer so luckily the walk to campus is only 5-min and there is AC in every room. It's 10-min walk to the closest river ferry terminal at Gyatt Park, and 20-min to the main UQ bus/metro hub at UQ Lakes on the other side of campus. If you like swimming UQ has a large pool facility you can join as a visitor.

Comments: The UQ sports facilities can be accessed and are 5min walk - these include pool, tennis, pickleball, gym, track etc. There is a lovely walking/jogging trail alongside the Brisbane river around campus.

Comments: Flexible dates - last summer we travelled for a few months and it worked so well we want to do it again. Our home is basically on campus and ideal for a visiting scholar or academic visiting Brisbane and wanting to be close to UQ.
