Description
We have a spare room in a big house available until January. The house has three bedrooms, an office, a huge living room and a courtyard perfect for morning coffees or reading/working outside. The house is great, not in the tourist center but central, so you can have a cappuccino sitting at the coffee shop for 1.50 instead of 4 Eur. Very nice neighborhood people, nice restaurants. A `15 minute walk from one of the best gelatos in Rome (in Testaccio). The owner still works at 94 and is very passionate about ice cream. There's also a bicycle and helmet for those brave enough to combat the Roman traffic.

Comments: The house itself is very unique. It's right next to stazione Trastevere, which makes it easy to get out of the city on the weekends. It's right near the mattatoio which has an outdoor caffe and live music all summer (you don't hear it from the house :-) ) .
