Our modern apartment is located in a historical building right in front of Aterro do Flamengo Park. The park runs along the beach, with a beautiful ocean front walk that leads to other neighborhoods and the city center. The park offers numerous options for fun and sport such as biking, running, tennis, beach tennis, altinha, etc... A swimmable beach is within a 10 minute walk. The apartment has a beautiful living room and one large bedroom with a bathroom that face Pão de Açúcar. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a wonderful view of the ocean. Rui Barbosa is a residential, green avenue located in the traditional neighborhood of Flamengo, where you can find supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants and all sorts of commercial activities. Flamengo is near all famous places and tourist attractions, as well as universities. Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) is a 10-minute walk away; Unirio can be reached by bus in less than 10 minutes; UERJ can be reached in 25 minutes by subway. It is a wonderful spot to move around Rio in general because of the easy access to buses, taxis and uber.
