Description
I am faculty at UChicago, and we are looking to rent out our home for 3 or so months - April, May, June! Dogs, babies, and kids are welcome! No cats (sorry, super allergic). You can stroll 20 min along tree-lined streets to UChicago main campus (my daily commute). Hyde Park's best restaurants are one block away, but it is quiet around our home. We have four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and the bedrooms are: (1) nursery with a crib (air mattress available), (2) room with a twin bed and a twin bunkbed; (3) master suite with king bed and attached bathroom; (4) main bedroom with king bed. We also have a library, living room, dining room, kitchen, and a basement bar (used to be a functioning speakeasy). Plenty of room for kids or dogs to run around. It's an old home, but the previous owners lovingly remodeled it. Some of the stairs are uneven and not ideal if you have mobility issues. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss renting it!

Comments: A fence encloses a small paved & stone "yard" running around our house, perfect for letting your dog out to roam and people-watch. Street parking is abundant in nearby blocks (we park on the street). Often the spot in front of our house is open.
