NEIGHBORHOOD: Our house is in a great neighborhood: we are on a completely quiet street that is fully residential. On one side we are close to one of Berkeley's best elementary schools, a music school for children, Monterey Market, Monterey Fish Market, Gioia's Pizzeria. On the other side, 5 minute walk to North Berkeley BART. The 52 bus to campus picks up around the corner. 10 minute bike ride to campus. Our neighbors are very nice. HOUSE: Our house has a big sunny living room (w huge comfortable couch + flatscreen tv), large dining room, full kitchen, brand new laundry room, 2 large bedrooms, and 2 completely brand new renovated bathrooms. 1. Master bedroom has king-sized bed + en-suite bathroom with large shower. 2. 2nd bedroom has full-sized futon + large desk w/ monitor. Set up to work well as an office 3. 2nd bathroom has soaking tub 4. We have an additional independent office in the backyard that gets lots of light (skylights + big sliding glass doors) GARDEN: We have a large, fully fenced garden that has a pear tree + 2 lemon + pear trees. There is lots of room for seating and enjoying the outside. PARKING: We have a dedicated parking spot on the driveway for our tenant + street parking ABOUT US: My partner and I are UC Berkeley faculty. I was previously faculty at Stanford University and used Sabbitalhomes in Palo Alto.
