My husband is a retired professor who loves to read philosophy and classic literature. I’m a Psychologist who loves literature and nature. We are looking for a quiet home from which we can explore the surrounding areas or enjoy the space while staying in and reading. Our home is situated a few blocks from downtown, yet it has a quiet back yard and is very peaceful. The nearby park has a playground, splash pad, a large green, and hosts various festivals throughout Summer. The OU campus and Campus Corner is 1.3 miles and easy to get to via a paved sidewalk. The house interior has original wood trim, large windows, large kitchen with granite countertops, recently updated bathroom with claw foot tub and walk-in rain shower; large dining room with antique table & chairs, one of two front rooms can be made a large office with a separate front door entrance. It has 3 large bedroom and one bathroom upstairs.
