The apartment is located near the intersection of Park Blvd. and just a few blocks south of Lake Merritt in Oakland, a central gathering point for the people who live here. Lots of green space around the lake to enjoy, and it is very walkable. It is in a vibrant and diverse community with lots of good cuisine nearby. There are many options for groceries within 1-2 miles and a Saturday farmers market within walking distance along the lake. It is just a 15 minute walk from downtown Oakland, and a 15 minute drive from the beautiful nature of Joaquin Miller Park or Redwood Regional Park. I am a full time artist who teaches various disciplines privately, so the space is geared towards creative pursuits. However, it would be a great space for someone working from home or commuting to university, as it is close to two different highway entrances and centrally located in Oakland. It is not far from BART train stations and bus stops.
