According to Architectural Digest, this iconic historical building is on the 5th most beautiful street in the world, where the Manhattan Bridge perfectly frames a shot of the Empire State Building. DUMBO is also the largest tech hub in NYC. This is a quiet building of long-term residents who are close to the staff and enjoy a low-key but privileged living environment. All neighborhood amenities are a couple of blocks away at most, as DUMBO was designed to be highly convenient and intimate, like a village inside a metropolis. Guests have told me that one of the condo's best features is the showers' incredible water pressure. But sunsets are especially spectacular, particularly against the all-brass kitchen. It is also a remarkably quiet unit thanks to the previous owner's design to install a separate layer of windows to shut out all noise from the Brooklyn Bridge next door. Wide planked wood floors against original concrete pillars give the unit a unique character. The building has a newly renovated gym and a large rooftop garden overlooking the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. To maximize privacy, the two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the loft. And there's a Steinway grand piano for someone who will enjoy it. I'm a private person, and my home is my sanctuary, which I care for and covet. I am willing to be flexible on the dates with the right person, couple, or family. I seek to find someone who treats my home with as much care as I do. If someone is a frequent traveler to NYC, I can work with them going forward for future visits as well, as my travel abroad often has some degree of flexibility. Right now, I don't know how long I will want to be abroad, so I am open to discussing medium-term rentals as well. I am also happy to provide more pictures of my home for those interested.
