Beautiful New Haven Home for Yale Graduation 2026

I am a professor at Yale University and my husband is an entrepreneur. We are offering our home for Yale Graduation week/weekend (May 13 - 20). We have a 3 bedroom apartment in a historic building in the Prospect Hill neighborhood of New Haven. Our home is located in an upscale, very safe neighborhood that is within walking distance to Yale University (especially the School of Management and the Divinity School). We are also within walking distance to coffee shops, parks, restaurants, and museums, and our home is also on the Yale Shuttle line (which provides free transportation to all parts of the Yale campus and downtown New Haven). The apartment is spread across two levels. Downstairs there is a large queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (with tub and shower), a second bedroom with a queen bed, a second bathroom, and an office. Upstairs is an open-plan living and dining area. There is a separate, extremely large kitchen and breakfast nook with floor-to-ceiling windows on 3 sides. There is a balcony with dining furniture that is immediately off of the kitchen. In addition, we have a large backyard that we share with the 3 other units in the house. We have a dedicated parking spot that we are currently using for our vehicle. We might be open to allowing responsible guests to park in our spot, but this would have to be negotiated. About New Haven: New Haven has the restaurants and culture of a big city, with the safety and ease of a small city. Everything is within walking distance - supermarkets, cafes, parks, museums - and Yale offers a free shuttle around town (that stops right outside of our house). There are cinema screenings, public lectures, and other events at Yale that are free and open to the public.
