We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to Oxford as we love our City and our home. We are seeking responsible, reliable and friendly people to occupy our apartment for up to six months through spring into summer each year. For our own peace of mind we would require excellent references for our prospective tenants. Our most important request for tenants is that they leave the flat on the date agreed at the outset! Of course a few extra days can be added if requested a month in advance. Our apartment is in a block of seven and all our neighbours are very friendly, professional people. We have direct access, via a footpath, to a children's play area and an adult outdoor trim trail. Oxford is a wonderful city in the spring and summer with a warm climate and plenty to do when you are not in work - theatres, cinemas, art galleries and riverside pubs to visit. Our neighbourhood backs onto beautiful countryside and after a 15 minute walk you can look over Oxford and its "gleaming spires". Headington, a well established suburb of Oxford, is about 1 mile by car. It has 4 supermarkets, other specialist shops, a pharmacy and several pubs, restaurants and cafes with Il Botanico serving what is said to be the best coffee in. Oxford. The Abingdon Arms, in the beautiful village of Beckley, is a historic pub run by the Community and is our "local"! There are excellent bus links into the centre of Oxford, the University, the Science area and the train station from Barton Park. Since the imposition of a congestion charge for cars entering the City Centre the time of the bus journeys has lessened considerably. The John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals are close by. Oxford is working hard to become much more cycle and pedestrian friendly so there are good cycle routes as well. The apartment is also very conveniently located for transport links to London. The "Oxford Tube" (actually a bus!) leaves every 10 minutes from Thornhill which is 5 minutes drive away and the journey is about 1.5 hours. If a tenant wanted to leave before the end of the agreed period we would ask them to give us at least a months notice but would not hold them to paying the rent right up to the end of the previously agreed period. We would ask for a deposit of a month's rent which would be repaid if the rent had been paid up to date, no damage had been done and the apartment had been left in the same state of cleanliness as it was when it was occupied. If, as tenants, you would prefer not to have the hassle of arranging Energy, Water connection and TV Licence and Broadband in your name we could continue to be responsible for these. We would leave a booklet with useful information about the flat and the neighbourhood. However, we would be at the end of the telephone and would be happy to answer any queries and would ensure that any difficulties were rectified as soon as practicable. In return we would ask you to treat our flat kindly and to respect our friendly neighbours. If you are coming to work in Oxford or are merely taking a well-earned break, our apartment in Oxford is the ideal place to be.

Comments: Barton Park is a modern development of attractive apartments and houses about 3 miles from Oxford City Centre with good bus and cycle links to the University campus. There is a parking place for one car allocated to the apartment and a cycle store.
Comments: The tenant(s) would be responsible Council Tax (Local tax) - £230 per month approx. & for paying cleaning at the end of their stay - approx £150.
Comments: The apartment could be suitable for children of any age. Barton Park is situated on the outskirts of Oxford. There is a cycle route into the City Centre and the scientific area of the University. There is a primary school nearby.
It would be very much appreciated if the plants in pots on the balcony could be watered.

Comments: This is a beautiful and very well equipped 2nd floor apartment in a block of 7. A couple of cupboards will be closed for our personal items but there will still be plenty of space for your clothing, storage for your work items and your food etc.

Comments: Length of stay and start and end dates are flexible. We are looking to rent out our apartment for a maximum of 6 months each year from about 1st April to 31st September.
