Rare & Unique Family-Friendly Brooklyn 2 Bedroom W/ Shared Yard

We are a longtime editor and musician who have lived in and lovingly maintained this space for 16 years. We split our time between Brooklyn and the Catskills with our two small children. We are looking for an individual / couple/ or small family who prefers pre-war charm to new construction and who will to take care of our garden apartment in a special, standalone late-1880s house with three units and a double lot shared backyard. Our apt was the tavern that serviced what we've been told was a boarding house with two available rooms to rent upstairs. There is a large living room, a very spacious eat-in kitchen, a small bathroom, and two small bedrooms. There are definitely some "quirks," i.e. there is no sink in the bathroom. But what the apartment lacks in brand new stainless steel appliances it makes up for in character. The bedrooms are currently set up with a queen bed in one bedroom, and an Oeuf Perch bunk bed in the other so it is perfect for a family with 1 or 2 kids. But it's just as nice (nicer?) for solo travelers or couples!
