We love our home and neighborhood in Takoma Park, MD and are looking for a family to enjoy and take care of it while we are away. The house is spacious - kitchen, dining room, living room, sunroom, half bath and screened porch on the main floor, 3 bedrooms/2 full baths on the second floor, a finished basement with playroom, guest space, bathroom, and office - and lots of wonderful outdoor space and gardens. (We have utilized the attic for personal storage.) The house would be perfect for a family. Down our back hill, we regularly use the yard to play soccer, run dogs, and gather with neighbors. The community is extremely welcoming and full of families with kids of all ages than run between yards. The Metro is two blocks away (Red line, Takoma stop). Downtown Takoma Park is a short walk away, with restaurants, coffee shops, playgrounds, retail, and a Sunday farmers market. We have a trusted gardener and cleaner that know the property well and would love to remain engaged while we are gone. Finally, neighboring dogs and their owners love our yard and we'd love to rent to a dog-friendly family that would be interested in meeting them. It is a great way to meet and get to know the neighbors!
