All this in a convenient yet residential location a 2 minute walk from the 2/3 express subway line putting all of NYC at your doorstep! Our location is perfectly suited for tourists as we are only 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan as well as students, families or professors visiting the many universities and colleges in upper Manhattan. Enjoy the comfort of a home away from home with a fully furnished apartment with up-to-date, clutter-free, stylish furnishings. The apartment is meant for 2 guests, however can sleep up to 4 for an additional charge on a short-term basis. There is a Queen size bed with luxury Serta Beautyrest pillow-top mattress in the bedroom and a luxury Italian sleeper sofa in the living room with a high-quality stainless steel mechanism and a firm European queen size foam mattress which is wider than a standard queen. We live on the property. While the apartment is a separate unit with a private entrance, we live upstairs. If you have any questions, concerns or issues, we can address it right away and most of the time, in person. 2. We love to travel and stay in vacation rental apartments ourselves and know what is important to our guests. We professionally clean our apartment between guests and make sure everything possible is provided for our guests comfort. 3. Famous Sylvia’s soul food restaurant is literally around the corner. Down the block is one of the hottest restaurants in NYC, Red Rooster, owned by celebrity/iron chef Marcus Samuelson. Corner Social, a casual bar & restaurant features a lively atmosphere. There is also Cantina for Mexican and for authentic Napolitan-style brick oven pizza restaurants, Sotto Casa. If you want to eat at home but don't feel like cooking, take out at most neighborhood restaurants is also an option along with the expansive prepared foods section at Whole Foods or the various neighborhood Soul Food Buffet & Salad Bars.
