The apartment is on the garden level of the ground floor of a historical Chicago home (c. 1880s) with plenty of light from the south-facing windows that are brand new! Furnished with a living area with a couch, armchair, workspace, bookshelves, and flatscreen TV. One bedroom with a queen-sized mattress, linens/pillows, and cedar closets. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stovetop/oven, hooded vent, refrigerator, coffee/tea, toaster, pots/pans, dishes, and silverware with a dining table. The bathroom has been remodeled with a shower & soaking tub plus a laundry machine. Rental includes heat, internet, and utilities (electric, water, & garbage.) Plenty of storage space for bikes and luggage. On-street parking is convenient. The owner is Northwestern faculty and lives on the premises for easy support as you adjust to the neighborhood.
