This three story, 2600 square foot, four bedroom home is great for families. The ground floor has a truly great kitchen (with a small mudroom), dining room, living room, and sunlight family room with a built in window seat. There are wood floors except for in the kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. There is also a nice porch. The house is on a corner so there is a front door and a back entrance off the driveway. The second floor has three bedrooms, or two bedrooms and an office if you like, and a full bath (3/4 tub). The attic has been converted into a third floor master bedroom with a walk in closet and another bathroom with a shower. There is a yard big enough for kids to run around but it's not overwhelming with flowering trees. A two car garage has outlets so level one charging is possible. The basement is partially finished and can be used for working out or something similar. You can walk from the house - this is not an exaggeration - to Amherst College, the center of town (cafes to work in, the independent bookstore, places for lunch, bars and restaurants), the High School, and the Middle School. It is a bike ride to UMASS (some people walk but this is more like 20 plus minutes) and to the nearby elementary school. Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke, Smith College, and downtown Northampton are all a reasonable drive. There are preserve lands with trails and streams a few miles away (too long for me to run to but you do you). We bought the house in 2019 right before covid and were really grateful we had this space as we isolated at home. There are carpets on the second floor, but if you have kids you will know that is not so bad. There are great details - the molding, the banisters, a stained glass window, and a great corner window in the kitchen.
