Available for flexible summer stays from June through mid-August, and for longer periods during the fall semester, this home offers a comfortable, turnkey option for those seeking a well-located base near campus. The apartment is spacious (approximately 1300 square feet) and well suited to multi-week stays, with a layout that supports both daily living and working from home. The large living room provides a comfortable central space, and a separate dining room is currently set up as a study/work area. There are two bedrooms and one bath. The bedrooms are currently configured with queen beds, though this can be changed to accommodate different needs (for example, separate beds for colleagues or families). The recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped, and the unit also includes a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer. Hardwood floors run throughout. The home also includes access to a large shared yard with deck, patio, vegetable garden, and outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven—a rare and enjoyable feature for extended stays. Located in one of Berkeley’s most walkable neighborhoods, the apartment is within easy distance of shops, cafes, and groceries, including Safeway and Star Grocery. Rockridge BART is about 0.9 miles away, and there is convenient access to AC Transit lines and UC Berkeley campus. The neighborhood is quiet, pleasant, and well suited to longer stays without needing a car (though driveway parking can be arranged if necessary). Utilities are included. Flexible start and end dates are possible, and we are happy to consider a range of stay lengths depending on timing. Rental rates, inclusive of all utilities, are as follows: $2,000 per week $3,500 for two weeks $6,000 per month $5,500 per month for 3+ months $5,000 per month for 6+ months Rates are somewhat flexible depending on length of stay and timing. Well-behaved pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
