We are renting our fully furnished family home in the Passyunk Square neighborhood of Philadelphia while on sabbatical for the academic year. The house is especially well suited for a visiting academic or family. It has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a private patio/yard with a barbecue. One of the bedrooms is currently set up as a home office but can easily be used as a bedroom if preferred. The home is located on a quiet residential block in a lively, highly walkable neighborhood, with easy access to restaurants, parks, the Italian Market, Sprouts, and Target. It is approximately a 15–20 minute bike ride to the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, and Temple, and about 2 minutes from the subway. The house is spacious and bright. The first floor includes a large, light-filled living room and an open kitchen/dining area. The second floor has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a flexible office/bedroom. The third floor features a large master suite, which also includes a workspace. The house is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities, including high-speed internet and everything needed for a comfortable long-term stay. We also have equipment for infants and children if needed. The home is in the Coppin School catchment, a great neighborhood public school where our children are enrolled.
