Located on the second floor of a 6-flat on a quiet residential street in Edgewater, the apartment is a 5-minute walk from the CTA redline, 10-minute walk from the lakefront trail, 15-minutes from Loyola, and 10-minutes from the Northwestern shuttle (Northwestern is a 30-minute bike ride away). Grocery stores (Whole Foods, Aldi, and Devon Market) and Andersonville shops and restaurants are also well-within walking distance. The apartment itself is quite spacious with many spots throughout to settle in with a book, a writing project, or just relax. It features a separate living room and dining room (with a smart TV, beautiful built-in cabinets, and crown molding), a sunroom, shared office, shared bathroom, and a lovely back patio. Washer and dryer are in the building. All utilities included in the monthly rent. During the academic year, I spend Monday through Thursday in Bloomington, Indiana where I teach as a visiting professor, so for part of the week you will have the space to yourself.
