Our cute terraced house is a five-minute walk to the Tube (Piccadilly line) and a 14-minute train ride into Kings Cross. Even though it's so close to the city it faces a wooded reserve that makes it feel like a tranquil retreat. It has two bedrooms and a loft room with a big desk and double mattress for extra guests. It has a leafy garden with an opportunity to eat outside in nice weather. The house is on a quiet, friendly cul-de-sac but is a short stroll from the shops, cinemas, supermarkets and amenities of Wood Green. Note that the old-fashioned stairs are steep and the bathroom is downstairs, so this house wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The house has a few quirks of being a nineteenth-century English cottage, but it has good central heating, a very comfy bed, a great writing desk and office chair, beautiful garden, a dishwasher, washing machine and stove, and lots of character. Note that the furniture has changed since the photos were taken.
