Spacious Berkeley Hill Home close to UC Berkeley

The house has been a wonderful place for our family. It is located right next to the Rose Garden and Codornices Park, where kids can spend a lot of time playing and exploring. The owner lives in the basement, completely separate from our space, but is very helpful if we ever need anything.

We really like this place. A cleaning lady, who has been taking care of the house for more than 20 years, comes every two weeks and does an excellent job. (There is a small additional fee for cleaning, but the cost is quite reasonable.)

Overall, it’s a great home, especially if you have young children. It’s also conveniently located — about a 20-minute walk to the UC Berkeley campus.

I rented this when my son and his family visited we in Berkeley for two weeks. Much better than squeezing all four of them in my house. Since I live in Berkeley, I was able to vist Susan and inspect the house. It was just as advertised, quiet, clean and comfortable, with space for all four, and a private off-steet parking place. The house was also across the street from the park my son played in when he was his sons' age and a large public garden, one of the nicest parks and gardens in Berkeley. It was a short drive to downtown Berkeley, BART, UC Berkeley, and my place across town.

All in all, ideal.
