Heritage Balmain apartment very close to the city

We really appreciated so many things about this apartment. It's in a great location super handy for the city by bus or ferry. We so enjoyed getting to know Balmain and its history, it's a great place to walk around and delight in the architecture, restaurants and pilates studios! The apartment is really comfortable, everything works and it has a real heritage charm. The neighbours were great too and even invited us to dinner one evening. This is great value and I have no hesitation recommending this as a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the centre of heritage Sydney.

I stayed alone for 2.5 months and had no complaints. The apartment is quite cool, well equipped and maintained, in an older building. The decor is interesting but old-fashioned, except for a brandnew bathroom. Noise from neighbours or the pub was not an issue.The neighbourhood has a village feel and is absolutely charming; 270 degrees of harbour! Public transport is easy, with a bus to the centre outside the door and the ferry nearby. The main grocery store is a 15 minute walk up the street (down and up, actually). In that area, there are countless cafees, bakeries, barber shops, restaurants and more. Correspondence with the host was easy, friendly and respectful. If I was going to Sydney again, I would not hesitate to try to book again.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Jane's flat. The place is gorgeous, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The verandah and shared front garden add so much to the house. The location is great too, very close to buses and the ferry station, with lots of local cafes and shops around. Jane was a great host and communication was always prompt and helpful. Thank you, Jane, for making my stay so memorable! I hope to be back in the future.

I very much enjoyed staying in you beautifully decorated apartment. It offers all one needs to feel welcomed and like at home. Moreover, it is located in an amazing neighbourhood with very friendly neighbors in the beautiful house and garden.
