Sunny apartment in the English quarter of Wedding

Ideally located in a quiet street in the residential neighborhood of the 'English quarter' in Wedding. The apartment is sunny with a warm atmosphere due to wooden floors, a little balcony for a coffee or aperitivo and a large eat-in kitchen with an old-style stone floor and all appliances necessary for every day life. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and further space for sleeping on the mezzanine level. It is faced towards the quiet courtyard. The cosy living room has a sofa bed and a large wooden table for working, writing, studying and dining. The bathroom is essential with a small bath tub which can be used as shower as well. It has a large window. The area is quiet and ideally located away from the tourist hubs. There are two green spaces close by: 'Schillerpark' lies just at the end of the street, while the bigger 'Volkspark Rehberge' is a 5-minute ride by bike. The underground U6 Rehberge is 200m from door and connects well with the centre of Berlin (Mitte). It is an 11-minute ride to reach U-Friedrichstrasse. Ideally Humboldt University situated 'Unter den Linden' can be reached in less than 20 minutes as well as the University hospital Charité Campus Rudolf Virchow and Herzzentrum situated in Wedding for those working in the medical field. I am a physician graduated at the FU Berlin, but then affiliated to the Sapienza University in Rome for PhD and further medical formation. My life is now in Italy although part of my family is still living in Berlin. I'm very attached to this little apartment and would be happy to host someone taking care of it. A single person or couple would be ideal. Minimum length of stay is 10 months.
