Capitol Hill - Fully Furnished One Bedroom English Basement

I had a wonderful stay at Karen and Tom’s apartment. They are incredibly kind and generous hosts who made me feel right at home, even sharing several delicious meals with me. As world travelers themselves, they bring a wealth of experience and great conversation to the table. I enjoyed their company so much that I even returned to visit them on a subsequent trip to D.C.

The apartment is perfectly equipped for a long-term stay, featuring a cozy bedroom, kitchen, and the major convenience of a private washer/dryer. Located right near Lincoln Park in Capitol Hill, the setting is beautiful and ideal. I highly recommend this apartment and these wonderful hosts!

This was my best experience of renting an apartment in the US. Before I arrived, I was concerned about possible noise from the street and exhausted Karen with numerous questions, which she patiently answered. Upon arrival, I realized that the place was remarkably queit, even though it was located in the heart of the city. While a basement, the apartment was spacey and comfortable. More importantly, Karen and Tom turned out to be the best landlady and landlord I have even had. They were exceptionally kind, sensitive, and ready to help. They let me keep as much distance and privacy as I wanted but were always ready to include me in their circle of communication and support to the extent I let them. I am very grateful to them.
