We are listing our lovely home in Northampton, MA. It is in walking distance to all the benefits of our perfect New England college town, continuously ranked one of the best college towns in the US. There is a 'rail to trail' bike path in nearly every direction. Walk out the door and, within minutes, you could be at our local butcher, the oldest hardware store in the US, an amazing bakery, or the train station to hop on an Amtrak to NYC! There are cafes, restaurants, bookstores, music venues, Smith College, museums, and more. A short drive away are the ski resorts of Vermont as well (e.g., 45 minutes up Route 91 to Mt Snow in Dover VT). We live in a two story home, with two bedrooms and a full bath on the 2nd floor. On the first floor there is a living room, dining room, den, guest bedroom, playroom, kitchen, and a 1.5 bath. We will be on sabbatical, and would be thrilled to have someone or a family in our home who are in a similar situation.
