Walkable to Harvard and Lesley; MIT, Tufts, and Boston are a short bike ride, drive, or ride on the T. Welcome to our home! You’ll be staying in the private first floor apartment of our owner-occupied, recently-renovated 1800s Victorian home. We have thoughtfully designed and decorated this space to be a calm, comfortable, home-away-from-home filled with art, light, and plants for our guests and visiting family. Over 800 square feet means there is plenty of space, including a dedicated office space with fast WiFi, ergonomic West Elm office chair, large maple wood desk, as well as a yoga/Pilates corner. The living room has a comfortable 3-seater sofa with chaise-lounge that pulls out into a full-size bed (sleeps 2), as well as a large TV with AppleTV and a sound system. The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with both firm and soft pillows, dimmable bedside lights with USB/USB-C charging ports, closet, dresser, and blackout curtains. The bathroom has a brand-new walk-in shower with dual hand shower, marble sink, and all Kohler fixtures. The eat-in kitchen has all new appliances including a new induction range and microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and high-quality essentials for cooking (pots, pans, coffee machine, coffee grinder, plates and utensils), as well as an off-kitchen new LG washer and dryer. Brand new heat pump heating and cooling system are powered by solar panels. Beautifully refinished hardwood oak floors throughout with comfortable area rugs, kept clean with ‘no shoes inside’ policy. We are happy to provide recommendations for our wonderful neighborhood, which we love to explore with our toddler!
