Loft Bedroom with En Suite Bathroom, Shared Kitchen, Best Central Location

I had the pleasure of staying in Mandy’s home from September to December 2025 through Sabbatical Homes, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The place is comfortable, well-located, and close to all amenities, making daily life easy and stress-free.

Mandy is incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and she made me feel at home from the very beginning. During my stay, I offered to look after her two lovely cats, Cosmo and Lily, and spending time with them added so much warmth and joy to the experience.

Overall, it was a wonderful long-term stay, and I’m very grateful for Mandy’s hospitality. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mandy's place in Lisbon, and would return in a heartbeat. I stayed for 2 months over the spring & start of the summer, and found it to be a most peaceful and enjoyable experience. The flat is charming and lovingly decorated, and there's plenty of storage in the kitchen as well as upstairs in the loft. The location is unbeatable – there's a great number of coffee shops and restaurants to explore in the area, as well as parks and small squares. I especially loved getting to know Mandy, who is not only incredibly kind and welcoming, but also a really interesting and astute person. And the cats, too, were wonderful companions. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I stayed with Mandy for 3 months over the summer. The loft apartment is very spacious, I had enough room to do my workouts and the desk was perfect for my online work. When it was really hot, I was grateful for the air conditioning unit in the loft. I also really appreciated the washing machine that was in the unit. The location is one of the best parts -- you really can't beat it. It's in Principe Real, less than a 3 minute walk to the farmers market and a 10 minute walk to Rato metro station. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and gelato places very close! If you have a chance to stay here, do it!!!

This is a wonderful place with the best possible location in Lisbon with easy access to public transportation, shops, parks, and restaurants. The house itself is a beautiful, quiet safe haven, and the spacious bedroom on the top floor has plenty of privacy. Own bathroom is a luxury. Mandy is the most considerate and helpful host. To have two beautiful cats around was an extra bonus.

Mandy is very welcoming, helpful, and an all round nice person to share a kitchen with - 10 points out of 10. The space is a nice, spacious-enough loft with an own bathroom. There's AC for hot days and a bath tub for cold ones. The area is one of the best in Lisbon, with plenty of amenities and cute places to eat and drink, and small distances to most other interesting areas in town. I can't recommend this place enough.
