Description
Our three bedroom home was built in 1912 and retains much of its original charm though it has fully updated kitchen and bathrooms. Situated less than one block from the ocean, and a ten minute walk to shops and services, you have the best of both worlds. The backyard is a gardeners delight: planted with perennial flowers and fruit trees, it is an oasis of green. Depending on when you visit, you might be enjoying strawberries, raspberries, plums, apples, or figs. There's also an abundance of rosemary and lavender. The bees and hummingbirds love it! There's a little marina a few minutes walk away with a nice coffee shop, and a lovely sandy beach about 10 minutes walk away. It is a quiet residential neighbourhood about 15 minutes from the university or downtown. Note: The rental/exchange consists of the upper two floors of the house. The basement contains a suite with a separate entrance which is rented.
