Luminous "cottage loft" in Little Italy, Montreal

Hi there! I'm a novelist and the Director of Content for a popular astrology app. I live in a condo in the Little Italy area of Montreal — one of the loveliest neighborhoods in the city, if you ask me. It's within steps of a fresh food market, cafes, parks, bars, and some of the best restaurants in the country. If you don't know Montreal yet, it's home to seven (!) universities, including McGill and Concordia (both primarily anglophone/bilingual) and the Université de Montréal (more francophone). Montreal is an incredible hot spot of culture, especially in the summer, where there are festivals every week (if not every day!) I've travelled (and house-sat) extensively, and I love animals — so if you have critters that need love while you're away, that's only a bonus for me. I used to foster cats, so I am very well versed in feline care, but I also have experience looking after dogs, goats, and chickens. (And plants, of course!) I pride myself on being respectful of people's property, so you can be sure I will take good care of your home while you're away. I'm currently planning a trip to the UK in July and/or August 2026. In addition to working from home, I'm a fiction writer, so I'm keen to find somewhere I can think and write (as well as come up for air now and then to reconnect with some of my old PhD friends, many of whom now live in London). That said, I love traveling, and I'm open to other locations in the future as well.
