Description
Comfortable fully furnished centrally located. Ideal apartment to get to know historic Madrid. In excellent condition. We are one block from Plaza de Lavapies. You can walk anywhere: 5 blocks to Reina Sofia, 5 blocks to La Latina neighborhood, 20 minutes, 10 blocks to Retiro and Museo de Prado, 8 blocks to Las Letras. The metro is also a block away as are supermarkets, restaurants and coffeeshops. This will end up being our retirement home and we chose it because of its excellent location. We are two literature professors based in California who also spend a lot of time in Madrid. We're on sabbatical and would love to spend January through March in London or New York but we're open to many destinations that seem fun and interesting.
