Our house is the ideal holiday home for a family of up to 4, possibly 5. The house was built in 1930 and has several art deco features. We have a living room, dining room, modern and fully equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms, and an office which can double up as a small bedroom. Internet connection is very fast. You are welcome to use the tv, netflix, the piano, and the office (where we can clear the bookshelves if needed). We have a patio and two gardens (back and front) with plenty of garden furniture, as well as several fruit and vegetable plants, and we're happy to share the harvest. The home is in a quiet, friendly and very safe neighbourhood, a 30 minute walk from Glasgow University. There are plenty of bus and train options to the University area (West End) and the city centre. It's a 15 minute walk to the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The house is less than an hour's drive from the stunning nature of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park, and just under an hour's drive or train to Edinburgh.
