Located in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood, across the street from a bike/pedestrian path, and a short walk from everything you need, we’ve been so lucky to live here while working at and attending Harvard and MIT. This fully-furnished and decorated, 3rd floor rental with 9 rooms includes everything you’ll need while you’re in our favorite city: * High speed wireless and wired internet (567 Mbps download speed when tested on WiFi!) * Appliances: New in-unit washer and dryer, new Bosch dishwasher, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, wall-mounted 55” TV * Free-standing, clawfoot tub with shower * Smart house: Hue lightbulbs with adjustable colors and Nest thermostat * Large, private, and furnished deck * Shared backyard with beautiful garden and lawn chairs * Shared storage in shed (great for bikes!) * Built-in closets in BRs, shelves in foyer, and built-in china cabinet in dining room * Pantry * Off-street parking included * Lots of natural light * Hardwood floors We have two office spaces that include standing desks, keyboards, mice, and monitors. One desk is currently set up in a bedroom, but the large foyer could also be used if preferred. Furniture details: Two bedrooms each containing a bed (one queen, one full), dresser, and built-in closet. Dining room has a table with chairs that can seat 4-6. Living room includes a couch, recliner, coffee tables, and wall-mounted TV. This rental also includes ~20 framed pieces of professional art mounted on the walls. With a 5 minute walk of from our place you can get to: * MBTA bus stops going to Harvard and Kendal Square * Restaurants: pizza, (fantastic) Greek, and kabobs * An American bar * Dunkin (though we think it's worth walking a bit further for the good stuff!) * Bright Horizons daycare, Mucky Kids art studio * Cambridge Linear Park * Blue bike station Within a 10 minute walk you can get to: * MBTA T stop on the Red Line * Playground and public swimming pool * Local grocery stores: Momma's Grocery + Wine, Pemberton Farms Marketplace * Our favorite restaurant in the city, Urban Hearth * A local spice shop, Curio Spice Co. * A local chocolate shop, Spindler Confections. Within a 15 minute walk you can get to: * Peabody Elementary School * Restaurants in Davis Square: * Great coffee (9 bar espresso, Diesel Cafe) * Italian grocery/restaurant (Dave's Fresh Pasta) * More pizza (Dragon Pizza and Flatbread Co) * And a healthy option: (Life Alive Organic) * Other great businesses in Davis Square including: * Somerville Theatre * McKinnon's meat market * Somerville Flea Market * The Rockwell Theatre and Saloon Heat, water, and internet are included.
