Welcome to ‘Sorrento North’ in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our renovated 120-year old heritage home is conveniently located in East Vancouver. It is in a family neighbourhood within a 20-minute walk to some of Vancouver's best restaurants, antique stores and cafés. Granville Island and downtown Vancouver can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car. UBC is a 25-minute drive and Simon Fraser University is a 40-minute drive. If you are using transit, there is bus at the end of the street that takes you directly to UBC in 35 minutes. The Canada Line train connection will take you downtown, to the airport, & further afield. 'Sorrento North' is a fully renovated three-storey, two-bedroom home with bathrooms on all three floors. On the upper floor there are the two bedrooms, the office area, and a full bathroom. On the main floor there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom. Laundry facilities, a workshop, a washroom (toilet and shower) and storage/recreation space are located in the basement. There is a very comfortable pullout couch in the rec room. Our house has a front porch, back deck, upper deck, backyard, and a secured 2-car garage. 'Sorrento North' is typically available from December to April each year. We try to keep our rent reasonable knowing that those using Sabbatical Homes are trying to maintain their own home as well as having an experience in another city. The combined cost of utilities (gas and electricity) during these months are typically less than $100/month.
